Hi Paul
We would like to say how pleased we are with the new seat and back cushions you made for our saggy leather suite. We were surprised at the large selection of quality fabrics you had available and were glad of the help and advice you gave us in choosing. We now have what looks and feels like a new suite and we are delighted with the results.
Thanking you
Pat and Ray Dodd

It really does look just like new.As you know my husband was all for taking it to the skip but after you returned it to our home he’s swears it is not the same chair because although it is nearly 50years old it looks just like new
Many thanks once again

Above are just some of the letters received by Paul for work carried out however the one Paul will never forget was several years ago when a delighted York lady greatly impressed with his craftsmanship, attention to detail and strict adherence to appointment times wrote to the York evening press letters column.
Agreeing that people should make a fuss when dissatisfied with goods and services ,but should make a bigger fuss when we find something good.
She went on to describe how mr lea had restored her faith in british workmanship, the firms name was not published but over the following months Paul lea upholstery was contacted by many people who had taken the trouble to contact the writer of the letter to find how which firm it was resulting in tens of thousands of pounds worth of orders
Paul is still indebted to the lady to this day
